Before I completely forget, I am still running my Facebook page over this break and often write more readings or posts over there to check it out! I will try and get a new post up early January.

Many festive blessings

Possum Dreaming

I have a little possum living in a bird house in my backyard so I thought it apt to share their unique spiritual insights.

The cute little Australian Possums featured in the photo above heralds a time of opportunity and foundation building. These little guys are nocturnal and therefore only come out when its dark. They are notorious opportunists (taking your veggies etc) and will often change homes in order to find better food and comfort. Once comfy though they may never want to leave. On the one hand Possum tells us to take notice of opportunities that are arising at this time. Particularly as the world is shifting and energetic cycles are beginning to change, Possum is a good guide and indication that it is time to take any new and exciting pathways that are revealed or opened up for you. It's not a time to sit back and be complacent when something new is brought to your attention. Possum can also refer to someone that is draining or unnecessarily leaching off you in some way. It's a good indication to make your voice heard and establish stronger guidelines in the friend/relationship or even discard it all together. Now is not the time to hold onto relationships or friendships for the sake of others, it is really important to do what is right for you because that may just assist that person onto their path. Sometimes being the 'bad' person at first - no matter whether they ever realise it - will inevitably help them in the long run.

Whilst it is important to listen to all the signs around us - all the naturally occurring elements and take notice that energies and shifts are occurring, it is equally important to realise that Spirit, Mother Earth, God, Buddha or any higher figure are working on these shifts regardless of whether we acknowledge them. I dislike people instilling fear so don't fear changes or difference, they can not spiritually harm you if you know who you are and trust in inherent good (this is hard when so many horrible things happen). It's really important that as Human Beings that reside on the physical Earth, that we ALWAYS keep grounded (through physical activity - dancing, yogo, pilates, gym work), centred (mediation, relaxation) and within our own individual heart space (love yourself and others - accepting that we can change our own perceptions and thought processes but not that of others). The (initially) hardest and then easiest way to live a more balanced and happy life is to simply understand that things are the way they are for a reason and being angry, hurt or upset feels good in the beginning but only hurts yourself in the end. The closest we can come to changing negative thought processes in others, is to simply listen and lead/share through our own actions. Be gentle on yourself and others when it hurts most, we usually lash out in fear, pain and ironically love. Try these little tips and see how much more you can act and speak from the heart.

"Smile inwardly and you will shine outwardly."

Many blessings everyone for the festive season,

xoxo

Wallaby Dreaming

This unique Australian mammal carries not only its beautiful baby joey in its pouch at the front but a deep sense of moving forward. Recently I have been looking for guidance in relation to speaking my truth and being able to be heard. I curiously thought that the best animal for this task would be the Wombat - stubborn and aggressive without being rude. I was surprised to find that Wallaby was the best to combat the task I had set. And yet I am not surprised. Wallabies hop into our lives to show us progression, adaptability and sure-footedness. Many of our wallabies live in very difficult, hilly and rocky terrain. Like the well-known Kangaroo's, they cannot walk or hop backwards - its physically impossible. So they always look ahead and move forward. Dwelling on the past is the most likely cause for Wallaby to hop across your dreaming. A stagnant belief that you are simply not good enough, your knowledge is not as complete or substantial as someone else's, your opinions don't count, your decisions are silly and people don't care about what you say or who you are. These are all common issues that Wallaby seems to bring to the surface. If you want to delve into this dark inner space to see where the issues are stemming from and what you can learn about yourself, you can trying holding wallaby in your minds eye (third chakra eye) before you meditate, listen to shamanic rattling/drumming or at night before you drift into sleep. It's a wonderful animal to dream with - filled with comforting thoughts and the end knowledge that you are just as valid in your beliefs and knowledge as the next person! Remember to love yourself, the planet and others without condition - just watch the abundance that flows your way!

Speak up and have your voice heard!

Blessings xoxox

Dragonfly Dreaming

Hey everyone, sorry I've been so quiet lately, it's been hectic!!!

The most recent animal dreaming that has been brought into my awareness is that of the Dragonfly. Several keep flitting right in front of my face, one giant one flew in front of me recently and smacked right into a clear cover before recovering and flying off - a definite give away.

The magnificent Dragonfly is a truly miraculous little creature. They represent the true emergence of yourself. If dragonflies dart across your path, you are undoubtedly in a time of change. Be it a career, relationship or physical change the dragonfly is there to assist with the metamorphosis. Most of their lives are spent as nymphs or baby dragonflies before they eventually spread their wings and fly. We all will spend most of our lives searching for the answers, the comfortable balance and our place within the world. Dragonfly is always are good omen that things are changing, not to be afraid and truly embrace the new image you discover. Sometimes as adults we place all sorts of conditions of the 'normal' and what is 'expected' of ourselves. The Dragonfly asks us to question these - what are we hiding behind, what are we truly afraid of? The hardest idea that we come across is knowing that in everything we seek, it always came from within. The journey and answers are not outside of ourselves, they are within. It's a matter of dropping the idea of 'normalcy' and simply listening to what your body is telling you. You'd be amazed and how much you will learn!

Blessings!

Crystal of the Universe

This magnificent crystal that I want to share with you all goes by a few different names. My preference is 'dendritic opal'. It is also known as 'merlinite' and is often confused with 'mystic merlinite' (they are two different stones). The clear/white elements are quartz and the black tends to be psilomelane (a manganese oxide) or the dendritic inclusions (look like moss/tree branches).

I have quite a few personal experiences with this stone. I own this gorgeous pendant that I wear sparingly, I also now own a beautiful raw piece that I'm pretty sure the owner was unaware of what the stone actually was. Never have I felt the presence of such a strong crystal. It aids Shamanic practices and development, balance duality (bringing dark into light and visa versa without there being negative/positive), helps transformation of concepts outside the grasp of a rational mind, aids fear of change and is a VERY active stone. I have heard people warn against using this stone if you are not a practitioner or spiritually guided in some way. Whilst I have always disliked excluding people due to knowledge or practice, this stone does need a warning disclaimer on it. I mistakenly thought it a great idea to wear my stone to my FIRST ever Shamanic class - huge mistake! I literally went on some speed-of-light journey that to this day has me confused (I'm not sure where I actually went). It was intense and the images, sensations and information were too fast and too much. I felt so ill afterwards, I was physically sick.

We have since worked very well together, especially with my Shamanic practice. But it takes control, understanding and dare I say, a fare bit of background knowledge. I will NEVER use this stone in Reiki or group meditations - unless fully comfortable with everyones awareness level. It is usually not a relaxing or healing stone, definitely more a spiritual growth stone. By no means exclude this stone from your collection, but use it wisely.

Keep this all in mind when choosing a piece of this truly magical stone and feel free to share any encounters with this Crystal of the Universe!

Blessings xo

Magpie Spirit

Recently the beautiful Australian Magpie has been wandering across my path. The photo below is a parent and chick (right). For those who are not familiar, these birds are notoriously protective during the Spring (now) and often swoop on anyone who is remotely near the tree they are nesting in. The incredibly unusual encounter I had was with a parent and chick like below. I volunteer garden at various different places. This one garden had a massive open backyard with some weeds off to one back corner. I was working here when I looked up and noticed a very quiet Magpie a metre from my face on the back fence, watching me. It scared me at first. I have heard the stories and been swooped myself but this bird seemed to be watching me with intense curiosity. So I continued and didn't worry about him, until he flew down and started picking the bugs up from my feet where I was disturbing the weeds. I was actually pretty unnerved by him being so close that I actually froze. He was gathering the bugs in his beak, presumably for his young. Next I heard was the squawking of the baby from what appeared to be just over the fence. I peered over the fence and this Magpie was feeding its tiny little baby in a nest on the ground less than a metre from me! It quickly jumped onto the fence and I backed away, yet it still didn't swoop at me. I was amazed. Completely stunned that this parent was so accepting and calm about my presence so close to its baby. The whole experience was truly remarkable and I feel quite honoured that I was allowed into their lives for an afternoon.

A brief Magpie Spirit meaning ~ Magpies are representative of sacred balance. If they appear in your life, they often herald a time of awareness, sense of purpose and confronting fears. They also represent the beginning of understanding the infinite balance between yourself, nature and the dualities of life; male/female, right/wrong, black/white etcetera. It quite often (like it did for me) turns your perceptions completely upside-down, causing you to reconsider the way we look at life, situations and people.

Thank you Magpie!

Dingo Dreaming

I have a lovely Dingo Dreaming story to share. When doing a recent nature spirit dreaming, I was visited by my guide for the Dream; Dingo. As soon as I closed my eyes, this gorgeous Dingo was there to take me to where I needed to go. We started inland Australia, in the desert. This Dingo took me specifically to a Boab tree (I'll mention that in a later post). Here I looked at this amazingly bottle-shaped tree and asked what exactly I was supposed to be learning from this tree. The Dingo showed me that the tree was sacred to native peoples and that I should walk around the tree, touching the bark and noticing all its features. He sat at the edge of what felt like an invisible circle around the tree, in the sand and just watched me. It was a very tactile dreaming. I remember the feel of the sand under my feet, the stones, the sharp grass along my legs as we walked and the strange bumpy but somewhat smooth texture of the Boab's bark. I felt the searing sun and the gentle coolness under the tree as I sat in the red sand and meditated during this Dreaming. Compared to other animal totems, the Dingo seemed to have a quirky humour and cheeky personality. He had a sense of purpose but never at the expense of a little play along the way. There was a distinct carefreeness and deep pride but not without a very laid back attitude. I got the sense that dozing during the hot sun under a Boab tree was a regular occurrence. He was not fussed by people and watched with a detached interest. They are known as tricksters but they are also cunning creatures with a mastery at finding food, water and shelter. Beautiful creatures to guide for any Dreaming or Spiritual journeys!

Black Swan Dreaming

We have all heard the story of the Ugly Duckling who turned out to be a beautiful swan. When the vibrant Black Swan glides into our dreams we are being inspired to come out of our shell, revealing the beautiful person we truly are. The black swan represents grace, inner beauty, love, affection and emergence. We all feel like the ugly duckling at times but this is not one of them. Black Swan swims beside you, giving you encouragement to shed the abandonment, isolation and inadequacy blankets. You are perfect just as you are! These magnificent creatures hold their heads and partners with grace and ultimate love. They represent the blossoming of your true self, no matter what you see, bringing you into a wondrous place of peace and calm. They are also passionate creatures with a strong sense of family. If the black swan is one of your totems, you may be the kind of person who always puts your family first and never takes consideration of yourself. Black swan knows how to tread the line of personal care and family devotion. Simply ask for the black swan to remain present in your life, they are more than happy to help. Offering a token (seed/bread/fresh grass) to a swan may also be a way to embrace this creature into your life and give thanks for their guidance.

Mini Reading

Today's mini reading is brought to us by the gorgeous natural wonder of the waterfall. A waterfall is effortless, propelled by gravity and mother earth, the water plummets and flows around obstacles. As we stand at the top of a waterfall, we are faced with the end of our comfort zone. There are elements of our life that we aren't willing to face, change or take that leap. The key is not to make things appear effortless when they aren't. Ask for help, open the communication up with your partner and chat frankly. The key is to let things flow naturally, surrender the control to mother nature for a while, she is watching and guiding. There will be bumps and even complete direction changes, just as there are rocks within the waterfall but just flow around them. Now is not the time to stay firm and unyielding, it will only do you harm. Respect yourself, mother earth and those around you in the process of change. No one said it was easy but water flows only where it needs to. Blessings xo

My Tawny Frogmouth Spirit Guide

This gorgeous photo came from Facebook, originally probably came from somewhere else. The link is below and is also featured on my Facebook page. It was accompanied by this beautiful quote that I really wanted to share with you all; “This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to bri
ghten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life.”

Yesterday I was at the airport in bustling Sydney saying good bye to one of the dearest people in my life. All the mixed emotions were overwhelming. When I arrived home I felt quite lost in my thoughts. As I was taking the recycling out at dusk, I looked up into the misty mountain rain and there my beautiful Animal Guide was, sitting perched on my washing line. I didn't feel so alone or sad knowing that she was around watching out for me. My dear friend should be landed in the wonderful USA and I'm wishing her all these and many many more well wishes for the road ahead. I can't wait to come visit!

My Siamese Fighting boys and the benefits of Rose Quartz

I thought I'd share my two boys with everyone. Buddha is no longer with me but he was a quirky boy, very protective of his bubbles and would have made a very good dad I'm sure. He was quite ill in his last months, a nice rose quartz in the corner of his tank used to be his resting spot when he wasn't feeling the best. Fish and animals in general LOVE the gentle qualities of rose quartz. Aurora hates the sun, Buddha used to chase it around his tank. Such small creatures but beautiful personalities. My kitten certainly loves having a fish around to watch and dream about!

This little man was called Buddha, passed away recently.

This is young Aurora, still a little boy.

'Purple Gem' Rhododendron Dreaming

I used a photograph I recently took and attached this beautiful Buddhist saying. Rhododendron leaves have been used extensively in naturopathy to help with arthritis, headaches, joint tenderness, anxiety, forgetfulness and the list goes on. They have also been made into various liquid essences. This plant loves to help, heal and wrap a loving embrace around you as well. They especially love to bring a smile to our face and light up the room when picked and placed inside. They bring joy, lift depression and help with imagination. You can't help but feel light and fuzzy when looking into these beautiful flowers! If using in distance healing such as Reiki, imagine the flowers bursting into life along the channel created and engulfing the recipient with lilac petals. It's a cold climate plant but well worth the trip to check out the massed blooms. Here in Australia, NSW (September-November peak periods) the best blooms are around the Great Divide around Orange, Bathurst, Katoomba, Lithgo etcetera.

White Magnolia Spirit

I had to share this beautiful plant spirit guide of mine. I took this photo up in the Blue Mountains of NSW, Australia. I have a powerful affinity with this magnificent plant species. Magnolia's in general are a strong, regal plant but the white magnolia has a special place within my Moon Crew (Dragon, Wolf, Tawny Frogmouth, Scribbly Eucalyptus, Cherry blossom).

Photo: Taken by myself in NSW

White Magnolia has a colourful history as a symbolic flower in many cultures. In essence the white magnolia represents love, nature, perseverance, body strength, nobility, purity, life-force and birth. Their life-cyle involves periods of absolute bare branches in winter followed by beautiful light green foliage and then flowers as seen above in spring. This cycle provides a key insight into its healing qualities. There are times to remain dormant and introvert (exploring the realms within), then times to remove the ice and unwanted shell to reveal new growth, coming into full flower. To connect with this plant is to connect with a deep sense of beauty, emphasis on releasing unwanted trauma's/pain/relationships, strong sense of purpose and affinity to healing, especially inflammation. The Chinese use the bark to resolve stagnation, phlegm, wheezing, sinus trouble and headaches. If you ever see a White Magnolia, go up to it and touch the leaves or flowers, you will feel their strength. And if you get the chance, sit beneath this beautiful plant and absorb the healing embrace.

Good Resource Book

Hello wonderful people! Just a really quick post regarding a book that I was referred to during my Shamanic Practice work. It's a wonderful read that opens the dialogue between Reiki and Shamanism. Depending on your view, it is a little basic in parts but it reveals the connection between two of my favourite and rewarding healing modalities. I recommend having a little read if you get the time! I've attached the direct link to Amazon below.

Have fun!!! Blessings xo

Plant Dreaming Orientation

I have recently been doing more Plant Spirit Dreaming and I wanted to share a little of my knowledge. I started 'talking' to trees and plants when I was a child. But of course during adolescence our spiritual soul takes respite (lying dormant), allowing our hormones and physical growing to take shape sometimes until our mid 30's. This is when the door creaks open and we either choose to walk through and rediscover ourselves or take a different door altogether until later in life. Every plant species has a blueprint and every individual plant has a unique blueprint based on what is needed in the area it grows. Mother Earth and Father Sun are the best at understanding balance, everything has a place and purpose. There is a matter of factness about the way plants grow, mature, provide some nourishment or service and then demise. Plants teach us how to care for ourselves and the land, how to respect everything and the infinite balance of life. It is a beautiful, enriching and secure energy that sings to your core.

This gorgeous tree and the 'strangler fig' I photographed in Port Macquarie, north of Sydney here in Oz.  The strangler fig sounds nasty and if the land is not in balance, it can be but it usually grows in necessity. It takes many years to completely destroy the host tree and what it provides (amongst others) in the process is an abundance of homes, nesting spots and food.

Three particularly special trees to my heart are all native eucalyptus around my home area: the ironbark, stringybark and squiggly eucalyptus. I have 5 trees in my backyard, perhaps around the 15metre height. They are iron and stringy barks. Each of these have a beautiful canopy and a strong sense of earthiness (keeping me grounded and respectful of the land). I'm sure I'll be discussing them and even post some photo's in many posts to come!

Dolphin Dreaming

Welcome souls! Today's dreaming is a personal inspiration. I am by nature a water lover and these creatures, along with the rulers of the sea, Whales, are my favourite watery teachers. Now I'm not going to profess to know or even try to write all the information we know about dolphins and their ability to heal us. These are a few selected pieces below when I did a Dreaming with these gorgeous creatures.

When Dolphin leaps into our life we are being guided to look at our breathing, balance, community and birth. Dolphin is the wise teacher of breathing patterns, emotional release and creating a sense of complete renewal. Have you been breathing short, shallow breathes lately? When we enter the watery realm, we are immediately overtaken by current (ebb and flow). Breath deep; relax. Water is an essential tool for physical, mental and emotional cleansing. Dolphin encourages us to incorporate more water into our lives to achieve this cleansing. This can be going to the beach or simply relishing in a soothing bath or drinking more water. It is the ultimate cleanser. If we are already a water lover, perhaps it is time to change the current waters. Think or go somewhere new. The natural balance of life; play, the hunt, nurturing, communicating, business. Dolphin understands the demands of life and necessity of balance. Each dolphin and each dolphin community has unique communication sounds. We are being guided to reach out and find our own sound (our own voice), embrace who we are and find our place within a like-mided and nurturing community. Forget those who seek to pull you under the water and surge up into the air. The friends we seek are out there but the ocean is seemingly endless, so have faith that in time you will come across the perfect place for you. Reach for the sun but never completely beach yourself and always remember to have fun along the way!

Kookaburra Dreaming

Good morning beautiful souls! I am going to try and get at least one post done a week on either an animal/plant dreaming, crystal healing properties or oracle messages. That's the aim! Today we have the apt named 'laughing Kookaburra'.

Click on this YouTube link to hear the distinctive call:

Kookaburra flies across our path for several reasons. Their unique call, frequently heard at dawn and dusk as a way of establishing territory, engages us to interact and look at our playful side. In the most basic sense, sometimes we need to learn to laugh at ourselves, life in general and take everything within our stride. The difficult and painful situations in life can be made easier by a good laugh. It doesn't, by any means, take away the circumstance but it can help. The Kookaburra balances the quiet with this intense laughing call, there are times to heal with peace and quiet and times to heal with laughter and enjoyment. With this in mind, Kookaburra is a very efficient hunter, praying predominantly on small reptiles such as snakes and skinks/lizards. The characteristics of these are infused into Kookaburra Dreaming. Collectively there is an emphasis on healing, listening to those pesky daydreams and actually taking notice of what they are telling you. Our daydreams are often the gateway to our desires and the answer to the internal confusion that you feel. A quite Kookaburra is a gentle reminder that we are on the right path. A laughing Kookaburra is often that mental queue that alerts us to potential health problems that we aren't addressing. The healing qualities of Dreaming with these animals occurs not when every animal meanders past but when our attention is suddenly focused or drawn to the animals presence.

Emu Dreaming

Hello beautiful souls! I'm sorry I'm more quiet than usual, I've just started a few courses and am extending my Shamanic Work so time is fleeting, as always! Now I should probably point out that although Shamanic work includes all living things from Earth, I am currently working with the animals/plants and environment here in Australia. So today's animal dreaming is brought to us by Emu!

The Emu is a flightless bird who's message of endurance urges us to not give up. There is always something planned. The Great Spirit knows what life is about, how it can throw us out of balance when things go 'wrong' and through Emu's message, we are reassured that we have the ability to pull through and enjoy the rewards. We are encouraged to do this through nourishing our soul. Each of us has so much to share and so many aspects to our great Soul. Close your eyes. Take three long, deep breathes, feeling your stomach sink and young lungs push against your rib cage. Listen to what makes you heart sing; long walks through the park, dancing, playing the piano, laughing over a wine and good meal. Learn how to nourish your soul in all its glorious shades and embrace the dark and lighter sides. There is no 'evil' part to our soul except what we make of it. Emu has faith in your ability, but Emu knows when to rest from the searing desert sun, when to pick his battles, when to nurture his young. There is a time and a place for everything but we only make it through determination and perseverance. Balance, nurture and love yourself, the rest will fall into place.

Blessings! xo

Rose Quartz Spotlight

This week and indeed today particularly have been focused on Universal Love. And what better way to represent this concept than the gorgeous rose quartz!

Rose Quartz has long been associated with love, relationships, marriage and of course romance! It is however also the perfect stone to bring about gentle healing, feelings of gratitude and harmony. The concept of Universal Love is having a certain inner peace and genuine love of life. There is an innate balance between what we consider 'bad' and 'negative' to what is ACTUALLY bad and negative for us. Often it is the reverse, the trying times and crappy circumstances have come about for a reason and that is something often only time will reveal to us. Rose quartz is the kind of nurturing energetic force that assists with this transition, allowing life to glide a little more freely and with loose expectations. You will find that people who have been through difficult circumstances often tend to either create order and routine for safety or they simply release and let life take them on the journey. Either way, rose quartz helps to release any fears and simply love what you already have and who you already are. At least attempt to anyway! The smallest little flower growing through a crack in a busy city can bring a warm smile into your day. For me personally, I have a whole box of rose quartz on the ready for Reiki Healings, my Script work and Shamanic Journeying. The energy is steady, gentle, loving and not unpredictable like many other crystals.

Hope you're all having a wonderful week!

Horse and Angelite Dreaming/Healing

For this beautiful friday I thought I would do a little combination as it actually came to me during a Shamanic Journey. Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!!

HORSE gallops into our life to show us our own personal power. Many cultures utilised the natural trust, strength and companionship of the horse to cross boundaries and explore this wonderful world. Any image, thought, video or oracle card that you may have experienced in relation to a horse represents a spiritual journey, the quest for knowledge, experience and change. Our personal power, the one we each have, lies within and sometimes the only thing we need do is take that first step. Have faith in yourself, do not listen to the negative nips of others at your heels and strive forward in the motion of the horse. We all have something to give, never forget that!

ANGELITE is a beautiful crystal used for opening communication (throat chakra), enabling us to grow that confidence to speak our minds and say what is needed. It is also beneficial in connecting to our guides, increasing our spiritual perception. It's the perfect gentle crystal for healing layouts, balancing (much like the aquamarine) and bringing us back into contact with our inner self. This crystal loves the energy of the moon so place it outside when the full moon illuminates the skies above.

Spider Dreaming

Hello beautiful people! It's been a while so here is a little affirmation from a friend that lives on most continents of the world...

SPIDER is the universal 'weaver of dreams'. Like our little Australian Orb Spider above, Spider weaves itself into our lives to remind us that we are the makers of our own web. When someone stomps through our web with anger, mistrust or negativity, it is up to us to get back out there on the fine threads of life and begin work again. The holes/damage will vary in size, sometimes we do get hurt in the process and the time it takes to patch the hole up can be lengthy. On the other hand, sometimes the repair work is simply not worth the effort, especially if the hole keeps appearing in the same place of our lives. If this happens, Spider encourages you to move to a new, bright sunny spot and begin again. You have the power and threads of knowledge to create whatever your dreams are. Spider is here to remind you that you and your life are the manifestations of your own dream. You are only limited by yourself!

Much love to all!

Aquamarine Crystal

AQUAMARINE

Our feature crystal today is one very close to my heart, as they all are I guess! Among its many attributes, it is my birthstone. It has taken me many years to warm to this dazzling crystal but I have worked with it more and got used to the feeling or vibration much more. This is a stone that cries water when you touch it! Everything to do with the properties of healing, balance, peace, creating steady flow, improving immune system and balancing many of our organs that function with food processing or digesting. It's a sensitive crystal with a soft hum, transporting us into an emotional state of complete ease. Pacifies tempers, regulates heated arguments and will cry out to the very generous souls out there until they buy a piece or wear it! If you have a friend or partner who loves this stone, make sure you have a preferably raw piece (as featured above) around the house in the place of their respite like a study, lounge room or sunroom. Don't keep in direct sun though! Just looking at this crystal makes me smile.

Love, light and laughter to all!! xx

SunRay Update

Just a little update on what's been going on! I have recently started a new writing piece which is looking at the various healing modalities and where our desire to transgress reality gets a little sticky with individual perceptions. This is of course a very brief summary but i'll get this blog posted with updates!

I have also discovered the perfect little crystal circle where I can peacefully and intuitively channel Angels for Soul Guidance. Works beautifully! Includes mookite, selenite, quartz, rose quartz and amethyst. My email is as always sunraysanctuary@gmail.com if you are interested!

What a gorgeous day it was today! Blessings xox

Mini Reading

Mini reading ~

Before I start I'll be honest and say that I don't work with astrology as yet, I'm fasciated, follow it (get the general gist) and know much of it has huge resonance on our lives. - This last bit I understand to be very true as I channel various Angels who confirm this.

At this time, especially down here in AEDT (Eastern Australia) time, we are in new moon time. There has been a HUGE amount of stress, anxiety and insecurity as we approach this phase. Now is the perfect time to manifest new dreams, pursue the old discarded ones, develop our creative side, love, relationship and feminine sides. What is really important to remember, is to realise that there are bigger things working out in the cosmos than yourself and everybody is in the same position of feeling agitated with life. There are processes that effect us and make us feel less stable and insecure about what lies ahead. This doesn't allow us to take the easy road and let life float past because we're in a time of rapid spiritual growth, causing us to question everything. Having knowledge of this should make us realise that we are the ones who have the ability to change with what situation arises. Don't hope for a better circumstance, embrace the difficult one you're in and if it isn't working for you, create a new one! This applies as much to emotions as it does the physical. If the emotion is ruling you, ask it to leave and focus on shades of healing pink and purple. Place an amethyst under your pillow for peaceful sleep.

Off down south for a bit of a cleanse.

Love, light and laughter to all! xo

Selenite Crystal

Today's crystal highlight ~

SELENITE is a gorgeous form of gypsum. It's used to create lamps, tea-candle holders, wands and of course jewellery amongst many uses. The qualities of selenite have long been recognised by healers, collectors and enthusiasts alike but I think it's a good time to start incorporating this stone into the mainstream. It's beautiful to have around and has such an uplifting and transformational energy! It's said to stabilise the 4 body system: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Questions of the Spirit

No mini reading today but what I would absolutely love to share with you is the basics of spiritual learning and manifestation. There are certain words (practices and concepts in entirety) that have always, and no doubt will continue, to divide opinions. Some of these include holistic, alternative therapy, spirituality, ascension, healing, energy, voodooism, regression, shamanism, psychic and the list could simply go on forever. Many such words are included in my practise and I have no intention of explaining or justifying ALL of them at this moment in time. (Of course I will go into depth if anyone specifically wishes in a certain aspect and shed whatever light I can.)

However, what I have come to realise is there is a huge amount of hostility and fear surrounding the very idea of spirituality and the concern over little if any scientific evidence to back holistic healing benefits.

First and foremost, you have the decision and only you have the ability to try something different. Do not place the blame on others because either they or the people around them have made decisions that have not worked out well or do not match your ideas or expectations of them. No one should ever be forced because our greatest power comes from within.

Secondly, like any industry, there are those who wish nothing more than to make money or even do potential harm to others. This requires your gut feeling and whether or not you feel comfortable. At any point during any therapy, session and treatment (just like medical) you should always express your concerns and cease to continue. As 'holistic' and 'alternative' suggest they have different focus areas than traditional medicine and should ALWAYS be utilised with the care of someone you feel okay with and should not be recommended to you as a replacement for traditional medicine. Be wary of any who specifically ask you to reject your medications, specialists or doctors. In an ideal world medicine and holistic therapy coexist well.

Thirdly, there is no right or wrong good/bad therapy or treatment (ie Naturopathy, Reiki, Aromatherapy). You simply need to do what feels right and helps YOU. The world is big enough for many different therapies (both conventional and otherwise) and those who are out to convert everyone to one specifically is not focused on truly helping others. I believe in and love what I do but I love and respect everyone for what they do best. The variations and options are what make our world so beautiful and amazing!

We are here to explore, grow and enjoy all the diverse parts of life so go out there and surf the rainbow!

Love, light and laughter to all

Mini Reading

Mini reading ~

We all feel like we need acceptance from those around us but we forget that the most important person we need to confide in, be embraced by and loved by is ourselves. Today is about forgiving yourself and embracing your truer self, every little aspect that you don't necessarily like. There are a million shades of every colour and that makes each of us variations of the rainbow. We are who we are and that's perfectly okay!

Love, light and laughter xo

Mini Reading

Today is about being easy on yourself. When we find ourselves feeling overwhelmed or being used, especially in the wide-world web, sit back and take notice but in the end we own ourselves and we make our own choices. Everything will be okay. We all make mistakes and in the end, we are here to learn and grow no matter what we are thrown. Go out and enjoy some sun if you can!

Mini Reading

Today's mini reading:

Become the person you dream of being. Today is a new day, a fresh start to create or begin something new! Be the guardian of your own destiny because what you see yourself becoming is possible!! Leave the yucky stuff behind and walk down a different path from work today. Miracles are all around and it's up to you to begin to notice them. They may not look the way you want or expect them to but they are there nonetheless. You open the door to such beautiful things when you simply allow everything to be and take their appropriate course of action, having faith that there is always a reason and greater picture to be seen. You can't always have what you want and life is not always ours to dictate but there is beauty, hope and miracles behind every corner. You just have to open your mind and your heart to the possibilities!

Mini Reading

Mini reading ~

Today the message was very loud and clear.

You need to address what is lacking in your life. This is the time to realise that we all have good and bad aspects of ourselves and don't get angry at yourself for these perceived weaknesses. We are in constant growth and the goal is not the destination, let things flow today and let any irritating circumstances or people just wash over you and keep flowing. Forgive yourself for your apparent 'lacking' aspects and embrace this day as a chance to realise you are more than aspects of light and dark. You will find that inner peace when you love both sides equally. Remember that you are perfect as you are.

Mini Reading

Mini collective reading for today:

Don't forget to embrace your passionate side. No matter how stressed or complicated the week has been so far, set aside time for the things that ignite that little fire in your belly. To balance out your passion, remember to meditate close to nature or engulfed in this gorgeous sun. Take some time out of the fast pace of life to love, dance and celebrate all that you are!

Blessings xo
